I visited NAViGO Mental Health Service today to speak with CEO Simon Beeton. He updated me on the support they have offered since starting in North East Lincolnshire 11 years ago.
It's been a busy week again in Parliament. I have been working with colleagues on the Online Safety Bill and the Levelling Up Bill. I support making directors of social media companies being personally liable for not removing illegal content online.
In the House of Commons, I asked a question to Secretary of State for Education Gillian Keegan MP about increasing provisions for vocational skills and qualifications, particularly in constituencies like Great Grimsby.
I recently met up with the new Fisheries Minister Mark Spencer MP. I invited him to meet with colleagues in the fish processing industry in Great Grimsby.
Unfortunately, due to attending a Parliamentary Committee, I am unable to join him - but he is fully briefed!
Together with Holly Mumby-Croft MP and Martin Vickers MP I met with Trans Pennine Express trains to complain about the abysmal service provided to constituents on the line from Grimsby & Cleethorpes.
